Important Deadlines for Student Accounts

Financial Aid and Disbursements

  • In order to receive or be eligible for any financial aid awards you must complete the FASFA application.  Please click here to follow NJCU’s Financial Aid Checklist.
  • Fall 2022 awards should all be disbursed at this point. If you have aid that still has not been disbursed, please contact the financial aid office at 201-200-3173 or financialaid@mrshaydenworld.com.

Please be aware that disbursements will occur on a weekly basis beginning on TBA and continue to disburse throughout the semester.  Awards are not disbursed by alphabetical order or class rank, as NJCU receives your awards’ they will be processed.  

Emails

  • We understand that is a critical time for our students, with payment deadline and the beginning of the semester approaching.  The main source of communication with our office is through our email bursar@mrshaydenworld.com. For tuition waivers, such as Staff, Dependent, Unemployment, Graduate Assistantships etc. please email waivers@mrshaydenworld.com. 
  • It may take 24 to 48 business hours for our office to reply. Please be patient and bear with us, we experience a large volume of activity and our effort is to service each individual student with the best customer service possible.

Book Vouchers

  • NJCU book voucher is an option for students that have a pending credit on their account after all other charges have been covered in full by the student’s financial aid awards.
  • Book vouchers can only be requested when a student has excess funds in their account. The book voucher application for Fall 2022 will become available in August.

Barnes & Nobles First Day Complete (Textbook Rental Program)

Please be advised, the Barnes and Noble First Day Complete program will not be continuing in the Spring 2023 semester.

We are returning to the T-Textbook program. Students need to opt out of E-textbooks (if applicable to their specific courses) by January 31, 2023

May 29, 2023 Memorial Day: University closed.
June 1, 2023 Final day to withdraw from a course (s) for a 50% refund of tuition and fees with a “W” grade.  Form must be submitted to the Registrar's Office.
June 12, 2023 Final day to withdraw from a course (s) for a “W” grade.
June 16, 2023 Juneteenth (Observed): University Closed
June 27, 2023 End of Summer I: Five-Week Session.
July 3, 2023 Deadline for faculty to submit final grades.

2023 Spring Semester

October 1, 2022 Financial Aid filing begins for the 2023 Fall semester.
November 1, 2022 Graduation Clearance applications are available for seniors completing Bachelor degree requirements in 2023 Spring. January 15th is the deadline for application submission.
December 8, 2022 Deadline to pay tuition/fees/room/board. 
January 16, 2023 Martin Luther King Day: University Closed
January 17, 2023 Spring Semester Classes begin.
January 17, 2023 Spring payment deadline for students enrolled on or after December 5, 2022.
January 24, 2023 Deadline to apply for Field Experience II and Senior Internship for Fall 2023.
January 24, 2023 Final day to Add/Drop course(s) for 100% refund of tuition and fees and correction of class schedules.
January 25, 2023 Withdrawal period begins. Submit form electronically to registrar@mrshaydenworld.com.
January 25 - April 15, 2023 Period to submit Pass/Fail Forms. Submit form electronically to registrar@mrshaydenworld.com.
January 30, 2023 Attendance rosters are available.
January 31, 2023 Last Day to opt out of E-textbook fees
February 6, 2023 Deadline for faculty to submit Spring 2023 attendance rosters.
February 14, 2023 Final day to withdraw from course(s) for 50% refund of tuition with a “W” grade. Withdrawal Form must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office. Submit form electronically to registrar@mrshaydenworld.com.
February 15, 2023 Deadline to declare a major for all degree students with 35 or more earned credits and with a least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
February 20, 2023 Presidents’ Day: University Closed
February 27, 2023 Midterm grade rosters are available.
February 28, 2023 Deadline: Incomplete grades for Fall 2022 and Winter 2023 semester become “F” grades.
March 6 - 12, 2023 Spring Recess: Classes resume March 13
March 13, 2023 Deadline for Faculty to submit Spring 2023 midterm grades.
April 7-9, 2023 Easter Recess: University Closed
April 15, 2023 Final day to withdraw from a course(s) for a “W” grade. Submit form electronically to registrar@mrshaydenworld.com.
May 1, 2023 Final grade rosters are available. 
May 3 & 4, 2023 Reading Days
May 5-8, 2023 Friday-Monday classes are in session.
May 9 - 15, 2023 Final Exam Week for the Spring 2023 Semester.

TBA Commencement
May 15 - June 15, 2023 Online Graduation Clearance Application for Seniors completing Bachelor degree requirements during the Summer II 2023 Term. Students completing degree requirements during Summer II 2023 will be invited to participate in May 2023 commencement.
May 15- July 31, 2023 Online Graduation Clearance Application for Seniors completing Bachelor degree requirements during the Summer III 2023 Term. Students completing degree requirements during Summer III 2023 will be invited to participate in May 2023 commencement.
May 22, 2023 Deadline for faculty to submit final grades.
