Undergraduate Tuition & Fees
Tuition and fee rates are subject to Board of Trustees approval. The approval for the academic year typically takes place in late June or early July of each year. Undergraduate tuition and fees are calculated on a per credit basis for part-time (1-11 credits) students and is charged at a flat rate for full-time (12+ credits) students. This applies for both degree and non-degree seeking students. In-state and out-of-state residency status is determined at the point of Admission. In order to change your residency status, you must provide proof of residency to the Registrar’s Office. Please see the Registrar’s Office webpage for more information.

Scholarships
All applicants to NJCU are considered for merit scholarships. There is no separate application, but students who submit an undergraduate admissions application by the priority deadline will receive priority consideration for scholarships.
Students must be enrolled into a full-time undergraduate program of study. There are a limited number of scholarships offered; awards are contingent upon availability of funds at the time of the application.
All scholarship recipients must complete and file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and receive a valid Student Aid Report in order to receive the scholarship. Scholarship amounts will be adjusted to direct billed costs of tuition and fees. Adjustments will be based upon the result of the FAFSA as well as other scholarships and grants awarded. Students who have already earned a Bachelors Degree are ineligible for Scholarship Awards.
