About Freshman and Transfer Scholarships
Information about financing your education.
New Jersey City University’s prestigious scholarships are awarded annually to entering freshman and transfer students who enroll full-time for the Fall semester into an undergraduate program of study.
Admissions scholarships are only offered to citizens and permanent residents of the United States. There are a limited number of scholarships offered; awards are contingent upon availability of funds at the time of the application.
All scholarship recipients must complete and file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and receive a valid Student Aid Report in order to receive the scholarship. Scholarship amounts will be adjusted to direct billed costs of tuition and fees. Adjustments will be based upon the result of the FAFSA as well as other scholarships and grants awarded. Students who have already earned a Bachelors Degree are ineligible for Scholarship Awards.
Please note that students must apply by April 1st for scholarship consideration.
