The Graduate Certificate in Professional Management Accounting is designed to broaden the accounting knowledge and competencies of private accounting professionals and strengthen critical thinking and business decision making skills of accounting managers. The program prepares the student for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) examination examination which is administered by the Institute of Management Accountants.

The accounting curriculum prepares students to sit for the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) examination. In New Jersey, students need 150 semester hours of college credits. The undergraduate accounting program combined with the Master of Science in Accounting is designed to meet this requirement. In addition the degree is an excellent base for students planning on pursuing an M.B.A. or an M.S. in accounting.
